Ernest Bebenimibo Visits Delta Vocational Board Executive Secretary, Makes Case For A Center In Okerenkoko

Earlier on Monday being 30th of August, 2021. The founder and country Director of the Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation, Mr. Ernest Bebenimibo paid an Advocacy visit to the Executive Secretary, Delta State vocational board. To request the establishment of a vocational centre in Okerenkoko Community, Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta state.

It was gathered that Mr. Ernest has before now, vowed that he will do everything within his means to ensure that a vocational centre is Cited in Okerenkoko Community. Stating that most of their youths are relocating to Warri and other nearby cities, just to learn vocational skills. As such believes that citing a centre at the community will be a great relief to the people.

On his part, the Executive Secretary of the Delta State Vocational Board, Engr. Smart Ikem, asserted that the visit by The NGO Boss, Ernest Bebenimibo is the first step towards the advocacy for a Center by riverine communities. As such expressed his happiness for such initiative and drive from the riverine community. And encouraged that the NGO Boss in conjunction with the community, write a formal request letter for that purpose after critical discussions on the way forward.
