Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation Fulfils Promise, Begins Project KitUpToSchool Campaign In Delta Riverine Communities -

In pursuit of her core Objective of bringing hope to the hopeless, reaching the unreached and imparting lives one person at a time. The Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation has today the 5th October, 2021. Embarked on the phase one of her Project KitUpToSchool 2021 Campaign.

In the first phase, a total of 5 Schools in 5 riverine Communities in Delta State was reached with over 2000 learners. The following Schools we’re beneficiaries:

Okpele-Ama Primary School, Tebujor
Toruyor Primary School, Opuede-bubor
Kumpa Primary School, Ubefan
Kere Primary School, Egwa

All in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State.

The project was carried out as a follow-up on an earlier project conducted by the Foundation some time last year. Which was tagged Project “Street2School”. Where over 90% of Pupils lacking the basic learning materials where identified.

The Team of this year’s EBF Volunteers was personally led by the President and Founder of the Foundation, Dcn ERNEST BEBENIMIBO, his wife and co-founder EBF, Mrs LOVETH ERNEST BEBENIMIBO, the Director General, Dcn OGAGA DARLINGTON OSSAI, The Director Riverine Communities, Mrs Augustina ODUDU, The Welfare Director, Ms Juliet Seiyefa, The Media Director, Hon GHARVAN WHITE OFUAFO, Micheal EFFIONG, Blessing Emmanuel, Dennis Sokoto and a host of others.

The Founder of the Foundation, Dcn. Ernest Bebenimibo as a show of gratitude in the official Kick-Starting of the Project. Appreciated donors, sponsors and Board of Trustee Members who supported the project one way or the other in making sure that the project is kick started.

Dcn. Bebenimibo as well, used the avenue to call on both the Government, Oil Companies, Coorporate Organisations and well meaning individuals, to key into this purpose driven project. As it aims at creating an enabling environment and conducive learning conditions for children in the Riverine Communities of Delta State. Revealing that the Foundation has a target of imparting over 5,000 children in the Riverine Communities by the end of the Campaign.

On his part, the DG of the Foundation, Deacon OGAGA DARLINGTON OSSAI during the visit to the aforementioned schools, charged Parents/Guardians to prioritize the education of their children/Wards. Stating that it is the primary responsiblity of every Parent/Guardian to cater for the Education of their children/Wards. Rather than waiting for aides and arms from others.

The DG went further to admonished Parents/Guardians to engage in any form of odd job if need be, so as to see their children/Wards through school. Asserting that it is Education that can give their children/Wards a better chance of succeeding in the present society.
