The Planning Committee of the Oporoza community Annual Carnival. Has announced the hosting of this year’s annual Carnival, which will be coming up later this evening.

The Chairman of the Carnival Planning Committee, Comrade Pina Ogrenfa, made this known via a release signed by him. And was made available to Newsmen in the early hours of today. Of which a copy was sent to Coastal Times Newspaper.

Comrade Pina who also doubles as the Youth Organising Secretary of Oporoza Community, in the release, highlighted the reasons for the annual carnival/celebration. Stating that, the carnival is not organised just for the purpose of fun. But is organised to serve as an avenue to Unite and bring the indigenes of the community across the Country together, to celebrate life and success. And to also display the unique cultural heritage of the community.

Ogrenfa in the light of the above, revealed that this year’s Carnival will be one of it’s kinds. As it is set to feature some of the finest Music Stars in the Niger Delta Region and Nigeria in extension. The likes of Popular Ijaw Singer Lizberg, Jumbo Fizzy, Timpaul, Zionman, Shanky Grey, Darling Gid and Lagos based Singer, Superwhite. Alongside Makossa Dancers, who will be entertaining guests.
