JUST IN: INC Spokesman Oyakemegbegha Congratulates Marshal, Ogaree, Tonlagha On NNPC Appointment, Describes It As Most Appropriate

Publicity Secretary of the foremost socio-cultural organisation of the Ijaw nation, the Ijaw National Congress (INC) Engr. Oyakemeagbegha Ezonebi, has congratulated sons and daughter of Ijaw nation recently appointed into the reconstituted Board and Management of the NNPC.

In a congratulatory message personally signed by him, Ezonebi said the appointment of Barr. Constance Harry Marshal as Board member of the NNPC and Capt. Tonlagha Roland John, from Delta state, as Executive Commissioner, Health, Safety, Environment and Community of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission was most welcome.

He added that the organisation was also happy about the appointment of Francis Alabo Ogaree from Rivers as Executive Director, Hydrocarbon Processing of the Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority 

Ezonebi noted that the appointments could not have been more appropriate considering the enormous contributions of the Niger Delta region and the people of the Ijaw nation to the Nigerian economy.

The INC spokesman called for more of such appointments and greater recognition of the strategic importance of the South-South region, nay Niger Delta.
