INC Holds First National Executive Council Meeting Of The Year, Discusses Self Determination, Constitution Of National Representative Council Amidst Other Issues

The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Ijaw National Congress INCheld it first NEC meeting of the year 2022.

Details of the meeting was made known to the press by the National Publicity Secretary, Engr. Ezonebi Oyakemeagbegha in the early hours of today, the 26th, January, 2022.

The Meeting which was held yesterday the 25th of January, 2022 and was presided over by the President, Prof Benjamin Ogele Okaba.
After extensive deliberations, the following resolutions were reached:

1. That INC remains resolute in the pursuit of self-determination
2. That INC will constitute and inaugurate the National Representative Council NRC on or before the end of February 2022
3. That IJAW DAY celebration will hold on the 23rd of February 2022.

These where the key issues deliberated and agreed upon during the meeting.
As the NEC focuses attention on projecting the Ijaw Cause for the common interest of all Ijaws both in Nigeria and in the Diaspora.
