DELTA 2023: Hon Chris Omula Calls On Guwor To Declare For Second Tenure, Says The People Needs More Of His Productive Representation

A Youth Leader and Former Councillor Representing Azama Ward in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. Christopher Omula. Has called on the Honourable Member Representing Warri South West Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Emomotimi Guwor. To declare for a second tenure in his office.

The Youth leader made the call in the early hours of today the 3rd of February, 2022. Via a press release signed by him and was made available to Newsmen. Of which a copy was sent to Coastal Times Newspaper.

Hon. Omula in the release, highlighted that, Hon Guwor’s Antecedents as a Member Representing the LGA, has undoubtedly proven his worthiness and eligibility for a second tenure. Stating that since his emergence, he has continued to foster reasonable development to the Local Government. By way of initiating People Oriented programs aimed at building the capacity of Youths and Women Empowerment.

The Former Councillor also elucidated that, the Ijaws who were deprived of the office for many years, before the emergence of Guwor in 2015. Needs not to give it up anytime soon, so as to ensure political balance in the Local Government.

He therefore, charged the Hon. Member to declare for a second tenure. Which he said will give him another opportunity to continue his good works, for the common interest and betterment of the people of the LGA.

“I Hon. Christopher Omula, the Former Councillor Representing Azama Ward in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, and a PDP faithful. Wish to use this medium to call on the Honourable Member Representing the good people of Warri South West Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Emomotimi Guwor. To declare for a second tenure in his office.”

“It is a known fact that the Ijaws of Warri South West Local Government Area. Did not come into the political equation in occupying this seat for a very long time, before the emergence of Hon. Guwor in 2015. As the Itsekiris have been the ones occupying the office. Thereby, technically placing the Ijaws in the Local Government in a politically relegated and backward position.”

“As a matter of fact, Hon Guwor since his emergence, has displayed a kind of representation that shows his ability to continually deliver the dividends of Democracy to the people of the LGA.” Which is evident in his initiation of People Oriented programs that are aimed at building the capacity of the Youths and Women Empowerment in the LGA.”

“As such, it is most sacrosanct for we Ijaws to stand our ground, in returning him to the State House of Assembly, as we approach another transition of power in the State, come 2023.” Because his return will be in the best interest of the Ijaws of the Local Government in particular, and the generality of the people of the LGA in extension.”

“Therefore, I am calling on the political Leaders and the generality of the Ijaws in the Local Government. To think in the direction of bringing back Hon. Guwor, as the Representative of the LGA for a second time. In order for him to continue to attract more and more meaningful development to our communities.”
