DELTA 2023: Group Alleges Plot To Pull Otuaro Out Of Governorship Race

Barr. Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, Deputy Governor of Delta State.

A Foremost Political Group under the aegis of Delta Ijaw Delegates, DIDG. Has revealed plot by some Political Leaders in Delta State to pull the Current Deputy Governor of the State, H. E. Barr. Kingsley Burutu Otuaro out of the Governorship race come 2023.

The group made the claim via a Press release jointly signed by it Coordinator Mr Abraham Amatare and Mr. Tarekedi Bodewei, it Spokesman, which was made available to Newsmen in the early hours of today 6th February, 2022. Of which a copy was sent to Coastal Times Newspaper.

The group in the release, highlighted how Leaders are making deliberate efforts to kick Otuaro out of the race. Which will give the opportunity to other candidates who they said, do not have the Leadership Characteristics, Political-Will and Competence to bring about Economic Growth in the State. As such, cautioning the said Political Leaders mounting pressure on the Deputy Governor to deviate from the act. Stating that their actions are clearly against the common interest of all Deltans, and portrays their unpatriotic nature towards the progress of the State.

In the light of the above, the Political group charged Barr. Kingsley Otuaro not to at any point, concur to the idea imposed on him by the said Leaders. Stating that accepting their decision for any reason, will not only bring utter disappointment to Deltans, but will also place an impediment on his Political Career. As he Is the kind of Leader the State needs to salvage it from both Political and Economic decadence. Therefore, urged him to move on with his ambition, so as not to disappoint those who believe in him.
