Delta 2023: Group States Reasons Why Delta North Must Support Otuaro -

**Barr. Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, Deputy Governor of Delta State**.

Otu Wenem Ro, a socio-political pressure group, has stated why it will support Barr. Kingsley Otuaro for governorship of Delta State in 2023.

Following their enlarged meeting at the Chairman’s residence in Boji Boji, the group hinted that Barr. Kingsley Otuaro is the most viable candidate, whose technocratic disposition was the reason Governor Okowa had a smooth ride in delivering the dividends of democracy.

The group initiated by COM. Onyemaechi Happy Chucks emphasized that the Deputy Governor hails from one of the prominent ethnic groups that was highly supportive of Okowa’s governorship ambition and ascension, and as such, deserves the support of the Ika People and Delta North at large, and as such, should be supported in his ambition to govern the state.
Mrs Ngozi Abaye, the group’s secretary, backed up their argument by saying that proof of leadership characteristics should always be the primary motivator when selecting a leader, describing it as “raw material for development and advancement.”
Mrs Abaye drew inferences from Okowa’s infrastructure successes, just as they did from Otuaro’s contributions to the SMART and Stronger Delta motto.

In reiterating their unwavering support, the chairman stated that Barr. Kingsley Otuaro is a trained conflict and peace resolution expert who earned his master’s degree from one of Nigeria’s and Africa’s best universities, and is thus well qualified to pilot Governor Okowa’s SMART agenda, which he noted is primarily focused on peace building.
