Delta 2023: Guwor Declares For Second Term, Promises Continuity In Delivery Of Dividends Of Democracy, Productive Representation

Coastal News

Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, the member representing Warri South West in the Delta State House of Assembly, has declared his intention to seek re-election as a member of the state assembly from members of his constituency in the 2023 election, and he is seeking their support.

Guwor made the declaration on Friday in Warri, claiming that he has not yet finished his role of representing the people.

The legislator also took the opportunity to thank members of his district for their prior support, thanking them for being the only constituency in Delta State to award Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the current governor, 139,000 votes.
Guwor also informed his constituents about the law he had sponsored and discussed its relevance.

Guwor went on to say that, in addition to sponsoring bills, which is his primary role as a legislator, he has also been able to construct classroom blocks, develop neighborhoods, and carry out infrastructure projects.

In response, Warri South West Local Government Area Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Favour Izoukumor, declared that the primaries will be held on an equal playing field for all competitors.
Members of the constituency and certain political stakeholders in the area, on the other hand, pledged their support for Guwor, saying he had done a lot to earn another term.
