BREAKING: ASSU Accuses Delta State Varsity VC Prof Andy Of Betrayal, Orders Lecturers Not To Resume Academic Activities -

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has fought with Comrade Prof. Andy, vice-Chancellor of Delta State University, Abraka, over the university’s unexpected withdrawal from the ongoing strike.

After seeing the VC’s frivolous activities, the proactive governor of Delta State, His Excellency Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, issued a firm order to the Comrade VC, Andy, to discontinue friendship and infatuation with the ASUU.
To avoid being forced out of office, the VC had no choice but to obey his boss’s orders.
It was learned that because the VC was diligent, the State University did not need to join the ASUU strike because the State government was apparently paying the allowances that Federal Universities were agitating about for state varsity personnel and lecturers.
Stakeholders slam the door. Professor Andy, the saboteur
Prof. Andy, vice-Chancellor Delta State University, has been dubbed a saboteur by enraged stakeholders and students.

Congress decided to visit the school and question some students, faculty, and parents after receiving word from DELTA State University management that students should begin classes immediately and that matriculation will take place today (Saturday).
When a member of the staff (name withheld) was interrogated, he began by speaking in parables, saying, “Whatever goes around, must come around.”

They claim that administration is continuous, but that was not the case with the current administration at Delta State University, Abraka. By sycophants bestowing upon him the titles of Comrade VC and our Saviour, he began to dismantle all the positive things that had been put in place.”
“The VC was soon so inebriated that he and his cohorts, including Pat Muoboghare, who sneaked into DELSU in 2017 with some National ASUU Officials to try to foment trouble for the previous administration for not allowing them to hold their unapproved meetings in the Senior staff club, were immediately invited, wined and dined with ASUU, following Andy’s resumption as VC, of which they told the public that DELSU had chosen to.

The visit to the school by a lecturer from the University of Benin City who was monitoring the ASUU strike was disappointing. “It is a matter of shame when Comrade VC has now been known as the ‘Saboteur’ VC because he was intimidated by the Delta state government,” he said.
The lecturer emphasized that the strike had not been called off and that lecturers should not return to work.

The VC’s tug of war with his imposed ASUU chairman, Professor Demaki, who has argued that the strike was not called off by DELSU-ASUU and that the VC is on his own, revealed that the VC had shot himself in the leg.

Professor Demaki, the chairman of ASUU, declared in a letter to the school that instructors at the state university should not resume their classes.
Another dad, who went by the name Stephen, stated that DELSU is currently in bad shape. “The VC was now stuck in a quagmire as a result of his hasty mistake and bad judgement. DELSU will be saved by God.”

“Today is matriculation in DELSU, and most of them who were scheduled to matriculate could not arrive from their various destinations for three primary reasons,” he continued, citing some matriculants interviewed.
People who spoke with a Congress journalist about the low turnout indicated that, “first,” the announcement to resume was too hasty, and that those in the interior may not have heard. Second, individuals who had traveled from afar to attend school could not do so until today.

Third, some children did not have enough money to return to school until their parents received funds by the end of the month, and fourth, the unresolved issue of high school tuition suggests that academics may not be continuous.

Finally, they blamed it on the VC’s tug-of-war with his imposed ASUU chairman, Professor Demaki, who argued that the strike had not been called off by DELSU-ASUU and that the VC was on his own.
