NBA ELECTION: Udu Branch Selects Osigwe, Ayewa As Presidential, Assistant Publicity Secretary Candidates -

Prior to the Nigerian Bar Association General Election, the Udu Branch selected Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN as its presidential candidate and Lawrence Ayewa, esq. as its assistant publicity secretary during their monthly general meeting on Sunday, July 14, 2024.

After a proposal made by Esiri Jaho, Esq., and seconded by C.D.S. Omon-Irabor, Esq., the presidential candidate was adopted.

Earlier, the branch selected Lawrence Ayewa, Esq. as their candidate for Assistant Publicity Secretary, on a motion made by Patrick Mekako, Esq. and seconded by Ese Evbierhurhoma, Esq.

After that, Udu Branch calls on its members to mobilize in large numbers and support the nominated candidates in the next NBA National Election.

John E. Odohisi, Esq., the Chairman of the Branch, stated in his statement that Osigwe will lead the NBA to unprecedented heights since he is a brilliant leader and has distinguished himself in the legal profession.

Additionally, Odohisi praised Ayewa, who had served as Secretary for the Udu Branch and was self-aggrandizing about the skills and attributes he would bring to the table at the national level.

He said, “Osigwe has proven to be a special leader by his association with the Branch, we know he will take NBA to greater heights, we have adopted him as our candidate” .

“Ayewa will undoubtedly bring flavor and expertise to service at the National, having worked for the Udu branch in a variety of capacities. We desire that every voter support him.” He continued.
