PAP: Urhobo Youth Council Chairman Charge Amnesty Boss, Dennis Otuaro To Disregard Senator Dafinone’s Request, Says His Request Is Self-Centered, Manipulative, Against Urhobo General Interest -

Senator Ede Dafinone has come under fire from Urhobo youth leader and former militant head, Gen. Peter Aghogho, for his claimed self-serving motive in trying to sway the appointment of Urhobo individuals to the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) Administrator Dr. Dennis Otuaro’s cabinet.

Dr. Otuaro was advised by Aghogho to reject Dafinone’s request, claiming that it is made only for the senator’s personal gain. Aghogho expressed his dissatisfaction with Senator Dafinone’s behavior and cited instances in which the senator manipulated submitted names in order to give preference to members of his immediate family and close acquaintances over worthy Delta Central residents.

Aghogho, the chairman of the Urhobo Youth Council in Abuja and a former agitator from the Urhobo region, described his bad experiences with Senator Dafinone. He brought up an instance in which the senator rejected a list of former agitators who were applying for educational scholarships and instead submitted the names of his friends.

Aghogho stressed that Urhobo representatives are actively contributing to the success of the Presidential Amnesty Programme under Dr. Dennis Otuaro’s current administration.
He gave Dr. Otuaro acclaim for his inclusive style, which guarantees that all participating ethnic groups receive fair treatment.

Aghogho cautioned Senator Dafinone that if he doesn’t put the needs of the people of Delta Central first, he might lose the trust and support of the community, which could be detrimental to his chances of winning office.
