The immediate past Deputy Governor of Delta State, H.E. Dcn. Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, made a moving speech to the people of Nigeria, urging them to stand together in the face of persistent economic hardship. Otuaro emphasized the need for cooperation and positive communication and urged a group effort to improve all facets of society.

Speaking to the nation, Otuaro recognized the justifiable complaints made through protests but issued a warning over the possibility of violence, referencing the End-SARS marches as a reminder of the risks that such actions represent to people’s lives and property. He emphasized the value of careful discussion and discourse in achieving genuine triumph in his appeal to the younger generation, urging them to use moderation and pursue peaceful channels of expression.

Otuaro also urged the government and those in positions of power to keep their word and actively listen to the demands of the Nigerian people in his speech. He applauded the Federal Government’s efforts and called for more action to lessen the problems brought on by the growing expense of living.
