By Freeborn Abraye
Various student unions leaders across the Niger Delta and their members came out in their numbers to stage a solidarity walk in Warri, Delta state in support of Chief Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro, the administrator of the presidential amnesty program, for his good works in the education sector of the Niger Delta region.
Within this short period as the administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Program, over 1000 thousand students have been deployed to private universities within Nigeria to pursue their first degrees and masters programs, those students who could not finish their first degree programmes in the previous administrations have been sent back to school, aviation students are also back to classes both in Nigeria and in South Africa, Marine students are also back to classes and about finishing their individual programmes.
International scholarships have also been given to students who merited the opportunity without any form of nepotism or favouritism.
The students also sent out stern warnings to those propagating false propaganda against the PAP boss to desist from such actions as they know those who truly have the Niger Delta at heart and Dr. Otuaro is one of such rare perons.
The solidarity walk took place on Monday the 25th November, 2024.
