Advocacy Group Writes Powerful Open Letter To Presidency, DSS, EFCC Over Olu Of Itsekiri’s Alleged Involvement In Arms Trafficking, Demands For His Prosecution If Found Guilty

By Uche Alvin
OPEN LETTER TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, INEC, DSS, EFCC, NIGERIAN SECURITY AGENCIES AND THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY
From: Ijaw Stakeholders of Warri Federal Constituency
Date: July 21, 2025
Subject: We Will Not Be Distracted – Justice Must Prevail
To Whom It May Concern,
We, the Ijaw Stakeholders of Warri Federal Constituency, write with a deep sense of responsibility and vigilance. Today’s so-called protest, a scanty play-call gathering sponsored by elements of desperation, does not move us. It is a joke, a poorly-scripted theatre of deceit, staged by those who have lost their grip on the manipulated narrative they’ve fed the public for years.
Let it be known:
They have no numbers.
They have no land.
They wear a crown built on fiction and fraud.
They are our Tennants.
We will not be distracted by noise, by blackmail or by coordinated emotional displays. The people behind this façade have for too long operated with impunity, twisting the facts of history, trampling on the rights of others and now, allegedly involved in arms trafficking and oil theft.
The hour of justice has come.
The law must take its full course. Those indicted including the so-called Olu, Micah Polo and their cartel of collaborators must face the consequences of their actions. Nigeria is not a lawless jungle. We call on the DSS, EFCC and all security agencies to act swiftly. There must be no sacred cows.
We are also calling on INEC to remain resolute and undistracted by these manipulations. The delineation must proceed because it is built on truth, population, geography and the will of the people.
To the international community, watch closely. A minority elite cannot hold an entire region hostage through deceit and sponsored protests. Democracy must not be sacrificed on the altar of colonial remnants.
We are watching. The Niger Delta is watching. Nigeria is watching.
Let justice flow like the rivers of our homeland. Let truth stand, even when lies scream louder.
Signed:
Chief, Tiemopere Joshua
(President)
