TO: THE ACTING CHAIRMAN OF INEC, MRS. MAY AGBAMUCHE

ENOUGH OF THIS BETRAYAL: PUBLISH THE FINAL DELINEATION RESULT NOW!

We, the Concerned Elders of Warri Federal Constituency, note the official handover of Prof. Mahmood Yakubu to Mrs. May Agbamuche as the Acting National Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

While we extend our formal congratulations, we must also speak with the burning truth that can no longer be silenced.
The people of Warri have been insulted, betrayed and ridiculed by a Commission that has chosen political appeasement over constitutional duty.

A DECADE OF SILENCE, DECEPTION AND DELAY

For ten years, under Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, INEC became an instrument of selective justice, disobeying the Supreme Court, violating the Constitution and toying with the peace of Warri.
Now that the mantle has fallen to Mrs. Agbamuche, we say with one voice: this is not the time for courtesy, it is the time for courage.

The Supreme Court of Nigeria, in the case of George Timinimi & Ors v. INEC (SC/CV/1033/2023), ordered INEC to publish the final ward delineation result of Warri Federal Constituency.
That judgment remains the law of the land, yet INEC under Yakubu chose to bury it under layers of deceit and ethnic manipulation.

INEC’S DELAY IS DANGEROUS

Every single day of further delay is a day of provocation and constitutional mockery.
INEC’s silence is a threat to democracy and its hesitation is a deliberate sabotage of peace in Warri.
Do not inherit this evil legacy, Madam Acting Chairman, history is watching.

OUR POSITION IS IRREVERSIBLE

We are not begging, we are demanding what the law already affirmed:

No Final Delineation Result, No Continuous Voter Registration (CVR).

No CVR, No Election in Warri Federal Constituency.

We will not allow any election to be conducted under a fraudulent and illegal ward structure that has already been struck down by the highest court in the land.
To attempt such will be to provoke unrest and spit on the face of justice.

A CALL TO CONSCIENCE AND ACTION

Madam Acting Chairman, your first test is before you.
The eyes of the nation, the cries of the oppressed and the judgment of history all stand at your door.
You must not fail.

The Concerned Elders of Warri Federal Constituency hereby demand that:

INEC immediately publishes the Final Ward Delineation Result for Warri Federal Constituency in full compliance with the Supreme Court’s order.
INEC ceases any illegal registration activity under the voided ward arrangement.
The Commission restores confidence in its independence by demonstrating that it is no longer a puppet in the hands of political manipulators.

A WARNING TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

Let it be known: the peace of Warri is hanging on the thread of INEC’s action.
We have endured humiliation long enough.
If the Federal Government truly values peace, then it must direct INEC to publish the final delineation result now before patience collapses into chaos.

We refuse to be governed by deceit.
We reject administrative cowardice.
We stand with the Supreme Court.
And we declare:

“Democracy is not fraud but INEC’s delay is a fraud against democracy.”
