JUST IN: “Tompolo Did Not Issue Any Ultimatum To Federal Government Over Nnamdi Kanu’s Detention” Says Bodmas Kemepadei, Urges General Public To Disregard Fake News Peddled By Mischief-Makers
By Uche Alvin
The attention of the followers and disciples of High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has been drawn to some circulating videos and reports on social media falsely claiming that he issued a 21-day ultimatum to the Federal Government to release Mr. Nnamdi Kanu.
We wish to categorically refute this misleading and mischievous claim in its entirety. High Chief Tompolo has no hand in such statements, neither has he made nor authorized any ultimatum concerning the said matter. These falsehoods are the handiwork of mischief-makers and attention seekers attempting to exploit his name and influence for their own agenda.
Let it be clearly stated that Tompolo’s struggle and advocacy have always been centered on the peace, unity, and development of the Niger Delta region, as well as the protection of national assets through lawful engagement with relevant authorities. His efforts are not connected in any form or ideology with the activities or cause of Nnamdi Kanu.
We therefore urge the general public, the media, and all well-meaning Nigerians to disregard the baseless insinuations and treat such viral videos as deliberate attempts to misinform and cause unnecessary tension.
High Chief Government Ekpemupolo remains committed to the path of peace, dialogue, and nation-building, and will not be distracted by propaganda from those who believe using his name will serve their ulterior motives.
