Abuja, Nigeria β In a show of unity and unwavering support, the Phase 3 Amnesty delegates led by their National Chairman, Gen. Godstime Ogidigba, embarked on a solidarity rally in Abujain honour of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), High Chief Government Ekpemupolo (Tompolo), and Chief Dr Dennis Otuaro Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP).
The peaceful demonstration, which drew ex-agitators and stakeholders from across the Niger Delta, was organized to counter the recent wave of negative campaigns being sponsored by what they described as unscrupulous elementsβ seeking to discredit the hard work and achievements of key Niger Delta leaders.
Addressing the gathering, Gen. Godstime Ogidigba reaffirmed the delegatesβ unflinching loyalty and commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu, as well as the peace-building and empowerment initiatives championed by Tompolo and Chief Otuaro
We will continue to stand by our leaders who are doing their best to make life better for our people. The Niger Delta stands for peace, progress, and unity not division or blackmail,β Ogidigba declared.
He emphasized that the Amnesty Programme under Chief Otuaroβs leadership has witnessed renewed focus and inclusiveness, creating sustainable empowerment opportunities for ex-agitators and youths across the region.
The rally concluded peacefully, with participants calling for continued collaboration, respect, and developmental synergy among all stakeholders to ensure lasting peace and prosperity in the Niger Delta.
