By Ebiowei Gabriel

Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, widely recognized for its efficiency in securing oil pipelines across the Niger Delta, commenced the distribution of food items to widows and the elderly in communities across Uvwie Local Government Area on Thursday.

The initiative, part of the company’s longstanding commitment to community support and generosity, saw trucks loaded with rice and groundnut oil delivered to residents ahead of the festive season. Beneficiary communities include Ekpan, Ugborikoko, Ogboroke, and Effurun, with the donations aimed at supporting vulnerable members of these communities.

The distribution was carried out by Tantita staff led by Hon. Akpos Seimode, Head of Community Relations and Public Relations Officer, along with Ms. Daisy Jaja, Admin Manager, Mr. Paul Esegoro, Health and Safety Coordinator, and Soso Pondi, among others. They were warmly received by community chairmen and leaders.

Speaking on behalf of the company, Hon. Akpos Seimode explained that the initiative was a directive from the company’s leader, High Chief Government Owezide Ekpemupolo, to appreciate community support since Tantita began operations in the region. He described Uvwie as a key stakeholder, saying:

“Our boss, High Chief Government Owezide Ekpemupolo, asked us to greet you and show appreciation for the support you have given Tantita. Uvwie is a critical stakeholder in our operations, and in our own way, we bring rice and groundnut oil to thank you and celebrate the festive season together.”

Community members and women expressed gratitude through prayers and heartfelt celebrations, highlighting the positive impact of the gesture.
