OPEN LETTER BY IJAW YOUTH LEADERS OF THOUGHT (IYLT)
IN TOTAL REJECTION OF THE MALICIOUS, FABRICATED AND POLITICALLY-SPONSORED ATTACK AGAINST DR. DENNIS BURUTU OTUARO
DATED: 10TH DECEMBER 2025

We, the Ijaw Youth Leaders of Thought, rise today with a voice of unyielding conviction to unequivocally condemn, dismantle and expunge from the annals of history the spurious publication circulating on social media, a malevolent concoction designed by frustrated political opportunists whose sole remaining recourse is character assassination.

We assert without equivocation: EVERY SINGLE ALLEGATION AGAINST DR. DENNIS BURUTU OTUARO IS A FABRICATION BORN OF MALICE, ENVY AND POLITICAL WICKEDNESS.

The so-called protesters being paraded online represent nobody but desperate individuals hired to propagate a failed propaganda script. We reject their claims in their entirety.

A. A PUBLICATION BUILT ON MALICE, NOT FACTS

How can any rational mind accuse a man who has devoted his entire life to peacebuilding, ex-agitator reintegration, conflict resolution and national stability of murder, ritualism, human trafficking and financing terrorism?

This is not just a falsehood; it is an intellectually bankrupt assertion sponsored by political losers.

Dr. Dennis Otuaro has successfully revitalized the Presidential Amnesty Programme, restoring order, dignity and accountability. The only individuals displeased today are those who previously exploited the chaos for personal gain.

So, who benefits from tarnishing his reputation?
THE SAME INDIVIDUALS WHO CANNOT THRIVE IN AN ENVIRONMENT OF PEACE AND SANITY.

B. TO ACCUSE WITHOUT EVIDENCE IS DEFAMATION AGAINST THE IJAWS

This propaganda is not just an attack on Dr. Otuaro; it is an affront to the Ijaw Nation.
Jude and his sponsors are displeased that Dr. Dennis Otuaro has restored stability.
They are displeased that the Niger Delta is no longer under the control of those who transformed the PAP office into a tribal empire.

Let it be known:
When you defame one, you ignite the ire of millions.

C. WE REJECT THE SPONSORSHIP OF LIES IN THE NAME OF “PROTEST”

We challenge the faceless sponsors:
Where are your facts?
Where is your evidence?
Which court indicted Dr. Otuaro?
Which panel investigated him?
Which security agency declared him wanted?

NONE.
NOTHING.
ZERO.

This tells the world all it needs to know:
Your protest is spurious.
Your publication is fraudulent.
Your intentions are malevolent.

D. DENNIS OTUARO IS NOT JUST A MAN, HE IS A SYMBOL OF THE NEW NIGER DELTA

Under his leadership:

PAP beneficiaries have been paid consistently.
Corruption pipelines were blocked.
Ghost names disappeared.
Transparency returned.
Local communities regained confidence.
Militancy reduced drastically.

These are the real reasons they want him removed.
Not because of any crime, but because he refused to acquiesce to the cartels who previously exploited the programme.

E. A DIRECT MESSAGE TO PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU

Your Excellency,
Do not allow politically sponsored ethnic merchants to manipulate your office with falsehoods.
The Ijaw Nation stands firmly behind Dr. Dennis Otuaro.
We know his work.
We know his sacrifices.
We know his integrity.

Any attempt to remove him based on unfounded accusations will be interpreted as an endorsement of falsehood and an attack on the peace currently enjoyed in the Niger Delta.

F. A WARNING TO SPONSORS OF FAKE NEWS

We, the Ijaw Youth Leaders of Thought, will no longer remain passive while politically stranded elements attempt to destroy the legacy of our finest minds.

STOP DEFAMING OUR SON.
STOP BLACKMAIL.
STOP PROPAGANDA.

If you desire relevance, earn it; do not manufacture falsehoods to attain it.

G. OUR FINAL WORD, WE STAND UNBROKEN

Dr. Dennis Burutu Otuaro remains:

A champion of peace
A stabilizer of the Niger Delta
A symbol of transparency
A leader with integrity
A man respected nationally and internationally

No amount of cheap blackmail can destroy what God has ordained.

We refuse the lies.
We reject the accusations.
We stand with Dr. Dennis Otuaro, today, tomorrow, and forever.
