TWO YEARS IN OFFICE: Ijaw Publishers Forum Pass Vote Of Confidence On PAP Boss Otuaro, Commends His Strategic Reforms

The Ijaw Publishers Forum (IPF), Ijaw People’s Development Initiative, IPDI, and other stakeholders have passed a vote of confidence in Dr. Dennis Otuaro, Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), marks two years of his visionary leadership.

According to the stakeholders, Otuaro’s two years’ tenure has been marked by significant reforms, including institutional upgrades, increase in foreign scholarship, youth empowerment, and peacebuilding initiatives in the Niger Delta region.

The IPF commended Otuaro for reinstating vital programs such as foreign scholarships, marine training, and vocational training, benefiting over 2,000 students and ex-agitators. His collaborative approach has fostered community and stakeholders involvement and support for the amnesty initiative.

In related development, the South-South Traditional Council and Ijaw Youth Council Western Zone also praised Otuaro’s visionary leadership, accountability, and commitment to human capital development. They described him as a “game-changer” and “divine gift” to the region.

The statement further urged Niger Delta leaders and stakeholders to throw their unalloyed support to him, adding that Dr Otuaro two years of diligent service had made him stand-out amongst previous administrators.
