According to reports, Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, a prominent Yoruba Nation agitator, has been released from prison, according to Yomi Aliyu, a lawyer for the agitator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was reportedly released due to health concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After 231 days in detention, the pioneer of the Oduduwa Republic was released by the Government of the Republic of Benin on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aliyu told Vanguard shortly after the agitator’s release that he was released to attend to his health in a Beninese hospital.
“Igboho has not been released; he was just released to be escorted to the hospital,” Aliyu says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I told you the last time we spoke that we’re making plans to take care of his health. As a result, he was released due to his health.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
