There was no generally known President Generals body in the administration of ijaw kingdoms, communities and clans.
The whole thing started precisely on 11th October,2018. When the office of the special adviser to the governor on rural development, peace building and conflict resolution called for stakeholders workshop for Delta south at isoko development union hall.
It was special adviser Hon. Shadrach Agadiga who in collaborated with other coordinators to assemble the ijaw charter. Chief Goddey Garenkeme Lyon was called upon nominate credible chiefs from ijaw extraction, only fourteen (14) kingdoms were captured ,these persons that were invited to attend the above workshop as PGs by their invitation unknown them later metamorphosed to become the first ever President Generals of the ijaw ethnicity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 17th of February 2019, the special advisers, advisers and personal assistants headed by Alhaji Barr. Isa Clark ,called a meeting of the existing Pgs to a meeting in Warri were the number of ijaw Pgs was increased to the fifty (50) with exception of Gbaramatu having four (4) unfilled chances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alhaji Barr. Isa Clark is our Patron. All the Traditional Rulers in the various Kingdoms are the Forum’s Grand patrons hence we are going round to visit and to introduce ourselves to them because it’s new nature.
