A highly revered Chief, philanthropist, social crusader, business icon and a leader in the Niger Delta region, high Chief Promise Lawuru, popularly known as Ozigizaga of the universe has paid a special visit to the office of the National Spokesman of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide, Amb. Binebai Yerin Princewill in Warri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Chief Promise Lawuru who visited the National Spokesman of Council yesterday passionately spoke on the unity of the Ijaw people, stressing that the IYC should continue to speak in defense of the Ijaw people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Ozigizaga who commended Amb. Binebai Yerin Princewill on his office unveiling and his press briefing and releases so far asserted that he is highly impressed with the activities of council under the 9th NEC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking further, Chief Promise Lawuru had charged Amb. Binebai Yerin Princewill to continue in speaking for the Ijaw people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Lawuru had particularly charged the IYC to consolidate and sustain the unity of the Ijaw people across board, stressing that the Ijaw people must continue to love themselves genuinely and the IYC should be seen as a bridge builder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wave making Niger Delta Chief Lawuru also reiterated his unwavering support for Council, adding that the IYC is very key to the Ijaw struggle for liberation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Promise Lawuru who was accompanied by Okosikeme Emmanuel, Timiebi Yanky, Kelvin Perekeme, Worwei, Mss Precious with the host of others too numerous to mention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a swift reaction, Binebai had promised never to renege in his quest to speak in defense of the Ijaw people, stressing that the Ijaw people should expect more from the 9th NEC of Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Princewill particularly lauded Lawuru for his support towards Council, adding that IYC is proud of him as an illustrious Ijaw son, stressing that he will not take his visit for granted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Binebai had assured Lawuru that the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC ) Worldwide under the leadership of Sir Jonathan Lokpobiri Snr will continue to address the multifaceted issues bedeviling the Niger Delta region and the Ijaw people in particular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
