{"id":2621,"date":"2024-07-04T13:21:44","date_gmt":"2024-07-04T13:21:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/coastaltimes.com.ng\/index.php\/2024\/07\/04\/education-gbaramatu-youths-council-to-embark-on-4-days-facts-finding-needs-assessment-tour-to-schools-in-gbaramatu\/"},"modified":"2024-07-04T13:21:44","modified_gmt":"2024-07-04T13:21:44","slug":"education-gbaramatu-youths-council-to-embark-on-4-days-facts-finding-needs-assessment-tour-to-schools-in-gbaramatu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/coastaltimes.com.ng\/index.php\/2024\/07\/04\/education-gbaramatu-youths-council-to-embark-on-4-days-facts-finding-needs-assessment-tour-to-schools-in-gbaramatu\/","title":{"rendered":"Education: Gbaramatu Youths Council To Embark On 4-Days Facts Finding, Needs Assessment Tour To Schools In Gbaramatu"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>By Freeborn Abraye<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to determine the general academic state of learning in the schools throughout the various communities in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, the Mr. Egbejule Kingsley-led Gbaramatu Youth Council, or GYC, has announced that it will tour the schools in collaboration with other registered bodies, such as, National Association of Gbaramatu Students, Gbaramatu Female Graduates Association, Ijaw Youth Council Gbaramatu Structure and the Gbaramatu Lawyers Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The information of the proposed tour was made available to Coastal Times Newspaper on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, in a statement entitled &#8220;Gbaramatu Youth Council Educational Tour&#8221; which was provided by the GYC&#8217;s public relations officer, Comr. Maxwell Wuruyai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the GYC schedule for the proposed schools tour viewed by Coastal Times, the scheduled evaluation school visit is billed to take place over four days, starting on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, and concluding on Friday, July 12, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A portion of the statement issued by the Gbaramatu apex youth body, GYC, says, &#8220;The proposed tour is meant to have a comprehensive and in-depth interaction with principals, headmasters, headmistresses, students, youth leaders, chiefs, and parents in order to identify the problems that have beset Gbaramatu Kingdom&#8217;s educational system and to strategically propose workable solutions to address them and other shortcomings that will be observed and noted in the course of the tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Statement In Part:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis goal will be achieved in conjunction with Gbaramatu Education Support Forum, Gbaramatu Lawyers Association, Gbaramatu Female Graduates, National Association of Gbaramatu Students and Ijaw Youth Council Gbaramatu Chapter collaboratively.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Day 1 of the itinerary, which includes trips to the communities of Egwa, Jones Creek, Okerenkoko, Pepe-ama, Kenyangbene, and Kokodiagene, starts on Tuesday, July 9. Which is in accordance with the GYC&#8217;s recommended schedule of visits to several communities where schools are located within the kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The GYC will visit the communities of Azama, Inikorogha, Ubafan, Igoba, Kantu, Kurutie, and Kunukunuma on Day 3, Thursday, July 11.
