The Niger Delta Nonviolence Agitators Forum (NDNAF), citing worries about possible violence and political overtones, has asked Niger Delta residents to reevaluate taking part in the scheduled statewide demonstration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comrade Wisdom Oniekpar Ikuli, National President of the NDNAF, issued a statement in which he sympathized with Nigerian youth on the issues they have brought up, but cautioned against staging a protest that can be used by dishonest individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NDNAF cited the anti-subsidy demonstration in 2012, which was organized by General Muhammadu Buhari and Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as an illustration of a protest with political overtones. The group also warned Nigerians, especially those from the South, to avoid the rally since it has been connected to Northerners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NDNAF promoted communication as a way to settle disputes. The group urged Nigerians, particularly the younger generation, to have conversations with the government, using David’s example of self-control in not attacking King Saul when he had the chance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a statement, NDNAF emphasized the significance of exercising prudence and using peaceful methods to resolve disputes, advising Niger Delta residents to follow David’s lead and refrain from taking retaliatory action.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
