Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL) has again partnered with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to organize a three-day capacity building training, which commenced yesterday, August 19, at the Jubilee Event Centre, Effurun, Delta State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The programme, themed \u201cCapacity Building Training for NSCDC and TSSNL Personnel Towards Effective Security Protection Coordination for Critical National Infrastructure (Pipeline),\u201d is designed to enhance the skills of participants in safeguarding vital national assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The training is facilitated by Top Private Security Services Ltd, led by Commodore Omatseye Nesiama (Rtd). Modules covered include Oil Assets Surveillance and Legal Applications, Health Safety & Environment Practices, Marine Transportation Safety, Threat Assessment & Risk Management, and Operational Protocols in Maritime and Riverside Environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resource persons at the event include Commodore Omatseye Nesiama (Rtd), Mr. Paul Esegoro, David Ogbedu Esq., and Mr. Roland Isereke, who represented Captain Warredi Enisouh, Executive Director, Technical and Operations of TSSNL, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking on the essence of the training, Commodore Nesiama explained that the programme was designed to help operatives \u201clearn, unlearn, and relearn\u201d in line with modern security practices. He noted that participants were exposed to legal implications of their roles, safety considerations, and challenges associated with pipeline protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On his part, Mr. Isereke, representing Captain Enisouh, said the training was to improve output in the field and ensure operatives adhere to laid-down rules. He emphasized the importance of the collaboration with NSCDC, which he described as \u201cfantastic,\u201d noting that the joint efforts have significantly contributed to increased daily oil production, with a target of surpassing two million barrels before the end of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
