{"id":5449,"date":"2026-02-16T09:07:28","date_gmt":"2026-02-16T09:07:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/coastaltimes.com.ng\/index.php\/2026\/02\/16\/mulade-commends-delta-gov-oborevworis-developmental-strides-charges-lga-chairmen-to-replicate-same\/"},"modified":"2026-02-16T09:07:28","modified_gmt":"2026-02-16T09:07:28","slug":"mulade-commends-delta-gov-oborevworis-developmental-strides-charges-lga-chairmen-to-replicate-same","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/coastaltimes.com.ng\/index.php\/2026\/02\/16\/mulade-commends-delta-gov-oborevworis-developmental-strides-charges-lga-chairmen-to-replicate-same\/","title":{"rendered":"Mulade Commends Delta Gov Oborevwori\u2019s Developmental Strides, Charges LGA Chairmen To Replicate Same"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>By Ebiowei Gabriel<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Delta State-born renowned human and development advocate, Comrade Mulade Sheriff, PhD has once again commended His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, Executive Governor of Delta State for his developmental strides across the urban city centres of the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chief Mulade, who is the Ibe-Sorimowei of Ancient oil-rich Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South-West Local Government Area made the appreciation and commendation over the several ongoing infrastructural development projects wish he described as infrastructural revolution in the upland of the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The renowned peace ambassador and environmental rights activist urged all the 25 local government area chairmen of the state to emulate and replicate same development initiatives for the grassroot people to feel the impact of the current administration led by Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is imperative to state that most Deltans do not feel, neither experience the developmental efforts of the government at the local level, except they travel to the major city centres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I want to strongly appeal and urge Governor Oborevwori to consider and prioritize riverine areas development, especially the long expected Ayakoromo bridge which many Deltans believed should be among the ongoing flyover projects by the state government, and the proposed Burutu &#8211; Forcados &#8211; Ogulagha Road project which is one of the most economically viable projects that will increase the state internally generated revenue, and lots more&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The council chairmen should be courageous and bold enough to embark on significant legacy economy-driven projects in their various council areas to boost economy growth rather than hiding under Governor Oborevwori&#8217;s development projects.
