The Niger Delta Advocates For Peace, Development And Economic Justice (NDAPDEJ) under the resolute leadership of its National Coordinator, Comrade Freeborn Abraye, has come out forcefully to set the record straight and silence detractors who continue to peddle falsehoods and undermine genuine patriots of the Niger Delta struggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let it be stated in unequivocal and unapologetic terms: there is no individual in recent history whose commitment to the progress, stability, and development of the Niger Delta region surpasses that of Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro. Any attempt to diminish his role is not only dishonest but a direct insult to the collective sacrifices of the Niger Delta people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Otuaro is not one of those opportunistic voices that suddenly found relevance in times of peace. He is a tested, trusted, and battle-hardened stakeholder who stood firm when it mattered most, during the turbulent days of the Niger Delta armed struggle. While many of today\u2019s loudest critics were either in hiding or benefiting from the chaos, Otuaro was on the frontline, risking everything for the emancipation, dignity, and economic justice of our people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NDAPDEJ emphasizes that the Presidential Amnesty Programme is not a playground for political jobbers and emergency activists. It is a delicate, strategic framework born out of sacrifice, blood, and negotiation, and it requires individuals with deep-rooted understanding, historical involvement, and unquestionable credibility. Dr. Otuaro embodies all these qualities and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comrade Freeborn Abraye stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is both laughable and infuriating that individuals who contributed nothing to the struggle now seek to rewrite history and question the legitimacy of men like Dr. Dennis Otuaro. These are people who have no moral standing, no historical footprint, and no genuine interest in the development of the Niger Delta beyond their selfish ambitions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NDAPDEJ warns all political merchants and ethnic provocateurs to desist from their campaign of calumny and deliberate misinformation. The organization will not stand idly by while desperate elements attempt to destabilize the fragile peace in the region for personal gain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let it be clear:
Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro is not just relevant, he is indispensable. His experience, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication make him a cornerstone in the ongoing pursuit of peace, stability, and economic prosperity in the Niger Delta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any attack on his person is an attack on the very foundation of the Niger Delta struggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NDAPDEJ therefore calls on all well-meaning stakeholders, traditional institutions, youth bodies, and the Federal Government to continue to recognize, support, and work with credible figures like Dr. Otuaro, who have proven beyond doubt their commitment to the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The era of political opportunism masquerading as activism is over.
The Niger Delta belongs to those who paid the price, not those who seek to exploit its legacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
