The attention of the Niger Delta Advocates For Peace, Development And Economic Justice (NDAPDEJ) has once again been drawn to the desperate and shameless political re-emergence of Hon. Thomas Eriyetomi, a man whose tenure in the National Assembly stands today as a glaring symbol of failure, neglect, and gross betrayal of the people of Warri Federal Constituency.
Let it be stated clearly, boldly, and without apology: Thomas Eriyetomi is a bad omen for Warri Federal Constituency.
For nearly eight years, the people of Warri Federal Constituency entrusted him with a sacred mandate, to represent their interests, to attract development, and to give the constituency a strong voice in the Green Chamber. Instead, what did we get? Silence, stagnation, and squandered opportunities.
This is a man who has woefully mismanaged the allocations meant for constituency development, leaving behind no tangible legacy that the people can point to with pride. Across the length and breadth of the constituency, there is a deafening absence of impactful constituency projects. No meaningful infrastructure. No strategic empowerment. No visible transformation.
Yet, astonishingly, the same individual now seeks to return to the House of Representatives. One is forced to ask: With what moral justification? With what achievements? With what manifesto?
“How do you return to the people after failing them twice? What exactly will you promise them again, more failure, more neglect, or more excuses?” — Comrade Freeborn Abraye
The people of Warri Federal Constituency are not fools. They remember the unfulfilled promises, the missed opportunities, and the complete lack of visionary leadership that characterized Eriyetomi’s time in office.
NDAPDEJ therefore warns in the strongest possible terms:
Re-electing Thomas Eriyetomi will be the biggest political mistake the people of Warri Federal Constituency can make.
This is not just about politics, it is about the future of our people, the development of our communities, and the dignity of our constituency.
Warri Federal Constituency deserves:
- A capable and competent representative
- A development-driven leader
- An innovative and visionary policymaker
- A purposeful and people-oriented advocate
Not recycled failure. Not political liability. Not a symbol of wasted years.
“This is the time for the people to rise, to reject mediocrity, and to demand real leadership that delivers real results.” — Comrade Freeborn Abraye
We call on all well-meaning constituents, youths, stakeholders, and community leaders to reject failed leadership and rally behind a credible alternative who will bring real development, effective representation, and purposeful governance to Warri Federal Constituency.
The time for deception is over.
The time for accountability is now.
The time for a new direction is here.
Signed:
Comrade Freeborn Abraye
National Coordinator
Niger Delta Advocates For Peace, Development And Economic Justice (NDAPDEJ).
