The Niger Delta Advocates For Peace, Development And Economic Justice (NDAPDEJ) has taken a firm, uncompromising stand on the political future of Warri Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.

After careful consultation, deep reflection, and alignment with the aspirations of the people, we hereby declare our total and unwavering support for:

Sen. Joel Thomas Onowakpor for the Senate
Chief Promise Lawuru for the House of Representatives

This declaration is not merely an endorsement, it is a political awakening and a resistance movement against years of calculated oppression, exclusion, and manipulation of the true majority in Warri Federal Constituency.

For decades, the Ijaw and Urhobo people of the constituency, who constitute the clear demographic majority have been systematically sidelined, politically shortchanged, and deliberately denied fair representation. What we have witnessed is nothing short of structured political marginalization, driven by selfish interests determined to hold power at all costs.

Let it be made categorically clear that the era of silence is over. We reject, in its entirety:

The continuous suppression of majority voices in determining leadership
The imposition of minority dominance over the political will of the people
The recycling of failed, ineffective, and disconnected leaders who have brought stagnation instead of development
The deliberate manipulation of political structures to perpetuate injustice

Speaking on behalf of the organization, Comrade Freeborn Abraye, National Coordinator of NDAPDEJ, issued a stern warning saying:

“The people of Warri Federal Constituency are no longer willing to tolerate political slavery disguised as leadership. The injustice against the Ijaw and Urhobo people in the constituency has lasted for too long, and we are drawing a clear line. 2027 will not be business as usual.”
He went on by saying:

“This is not a fight against any ethnic group, it is rather a fight against injustice, imbalance, and deliberate exclusion. Democracy must reflect majority will, not manipulated arrangements designed to benefit a few.”

NDAPDEJ calls on all Ijaw and Urhobo sons and daughters, youths, elders, stakeholders, and community leaders in the constituency, to rise in unity and reclaim their political destiny. The struggle ahead is not just about elections; it is about restoring dignity, fairness, and rightful representation.

We urge all Ijaws and Urhobos in the constituency to reject deception, resist intimidation, and stand firmly behind credible leaders who represent competence, courage, and the true interests of the people.

The message is clear:
No more marginalization.
No more recycled failure.
No more political injustice.

2027 is a turning point.

History will remember those who stood for truth, and those who stood in the way of it.
